86/100 || Meet the Be Mobile – aka Beatrice! This is what I have been hard at work planning behind the Instagram scenes, and I was finally able to pick her up on day 86 of The 100 Day Project! In two weeks, I will be taking Chapter Be on the road to interview people across America for “The Being of a Nation.” Chapter Be aims to switch the question from “What do you do?” to “How might you BE in this world?’’ Our country is definitely at a point in history where we feel more divided than ever, and I want to examine how much truth there is in this. Through listening and collecting the stories of a nation of BEings, the aim is to highlight the power of the collective, focusing on the ways our country is strengthened through our differences and united by our similarities. My goal is to hit all 48 states in 3 months…ambitious, I know! I have already outlined my path with the cities that I hope to both pass through and/or stay for a bit. I will be sharing that path within the next two weeks, as I would love recommendations from all of you of where I should be sure to pull the Be Mobile over for some great, diverse interviews. ⠀
Beatrice got her name because the name means “bringer of joy” or “she who brings happiness,” and people (or vehicles) with this name “have a deep inner desire to work with others to achieve peace and harmony.” Plus her nickname will be Bea – and there were some pretty fierce ladies in history with that name! ⠀
