65/100: Be Mischievous

65/100 || On Wednesday I was stress-eating cherries (if that is a thing) and started to laugh as I noticed how much they look like little butts. I know that the 🍑 gets all the attention in the fruit world for it’s resemblance to a derriere, but I think it is about time that 🍒 got their time in the light! So, with that in mind drew myself a little cherry-butt man. â €

This moment of play not only pulled me out of my stress for a bit but also reminded me that we can find silliness in the most smallest of places. It made me think about being little and seeing faces in everyday objects or using my imagination to turn nothing into something. Personification was the name of the game! Back when we allowed ourselves to giggle and laugh at the prospect of cherries being little butts and leaves on the grass being fish you could catch and swing sets being rocket ships. We see what we want to see! One of my all-time favorite movies scenes (and movies!) is the scene in “Hook” when Robin Williams finally sees the food on the dinner table – using his imagination to feed him. How do we do more of that?! â €
