57/100 || I know some people love grocery shopping – for me it’s more of a means to an end! I do love farmer’s markets, but big huge grocery stores just make me anxious and overwhelmed! I kinda avoid it until my cupboards are so bare that it is a necessity. So, on my last trip I tried to find a way to make it more fun and playful. Post-its are a girl’s best friend, so I took a pack with me and decided to leave BE Messages hidden throughout the store in various places. Doing this at prime grocery-getting time was a challenge – as I got a few looks – but it made me feel sneaky, mischievous, and a little spicy! I was giggling to myself as I both thought of different BE messages based on the product and in thinking about random people finding them! It made the whole shopping experience way more fun and playful. It also gave me flashbacks to when I went through a time where I carried a big ol’ sharpie around in my bag when I lived in NYC in order to put big huge Xs on the sexist advertisements I came across around the city. This was a little more light-hearted, but I *might* have got a little post-it happy in the women’s magazine section 😬
