11/100: Long week and day – so my play today was getting’ crafty with some crafts! I have a little project I am starting and who doesn’t need more glitz and glitter in their life?! Amirite? This rainbow of glitter made me happy and – even though it was a quick instant of play – it got me thinking about sparkly rainbows instead of worrying about everything that needs to get done over the next few weeks.

I am learning that, so far, a lot of this project for me is about a mindset shift. How I look at my daily to-dos and try to infuse instants of play between them, or even better – how I can actually incorporate a playful mentality *into* the task. When you find yourself spending a good part of the day wondering what your playful moment will be – you start seeing the day a little differently! I’m not gonna lie – 89 more days is feeling a little daunting – but it is also reminding me that not everything needs to be planned or overly elaborate – it is really just about making the time and having it be a priority when considering how you want to spend your waking hours. And who knows – maybe your sleeping hours, too. I’ll let you know if I dream of surfing a sparkly rainbow tonight!
