This is a long video, but worth taking a little time this weekend to watch! Lisa Congdon is an amazing illustrator and artist who was the keynote speaker at ALT Winter this year. I love her story, as she is a late bloomer who didn’t even begin to draw until she was 31 and launched her art business in her late thirties. She’s on my dream list of interviewees for Chapter Be!
She inspires those who are trying to start their own creative business, that it is indeed possible! After all – her first office was the coffee table in her living room and she learned by practice and experimentation.
In this video she talks about her story and what she experienced going from someone doodling for fun to someone getting paid for her art.
And – for fun – check out her Doodling Manifesto!
