How often do we make things more difficult then they need to be? I often think of my father jokingly saying, “Keep it simple, stupid.” Or as C. W. Ceran pointed out, “Genius is the ability to reduce the complicated to the simple.”
So who better to remind us of this then Cookie Monster?! We can learn a lot from a muppet. When we take the time to relish the sweet things in life, it can help ease our worries. It might not ease them forever, but it does help to take a break and gain some perspective.
So – take a cookie break. Or find a muppet that you can talk to. Or both.
