Ok – so, if you watch one thing this week, it should be Elle Luna‘s talk at the 2014 Do Lectures. It is fan-freaking-tastic! She does such an amazing job of hitting on so many relevant topics about what it means to follow your must instead of the shoulds that plague us every day. She speaks about how the universe brings us what we need, when we need it – and me finding her talk this week is exactly that. I was just having a conversation yesterday about how to make the time to do the hard work of “being,” and this talk spoke directly to that.
I love that she is honest about the fact that money is a realistic part of life and that sometimes we have to do a “job” in order to follow a “calling.” We all find ourselves in the crossroads of should and must, but as Elle points out, “Must is you. To chose must is the greatest thing we can do with our lives.” She learned through her work and discussions with people that the overarching sentiment that we all have is how we get out from under the pile of shoulds in order to live the fullness of our lives.
She practices what she preaches in the video – being raw and real.
I love it. Think you will too.
