Watching this documentary is part of my weekend plans. Saul Leiter‘s pictures are phenomenal. They have a certain light, playfulness and realness to them that make me love street photography. Leiter left theology school and moved to New York to become an artist and follow his passion for photography. The documentary was made in 2012, and Leiter passed away in 2013. I’m a little late to this party, but am excited to learn more about his story and life through this film. His approach to his work and life are rather admirable, and believe that his 13 lessons are a great way to start off my first weekend in 2015!
