“A Story That Lives, is a Story That’s Told.”
Sometimes, as adults, we can take life a little too seriously. We get so entrapped in the responsibilities that we have, that we forget that life is meant to be enjoyed. We all need to remember what it was like to explore and wonder – it is what keeps our imaginations alive and allows us to think bigger. Don’t limit yourself – think the way a ten year old would and allow yourself time to play, enjoy life and be silly. Keep things simple, they don’t need to be as complicated as we make them. If you are having trouble doing this – watch the way a child plays and interacts with the world. They have a way of seeing it exactly as it is. Case in point: the picture and caption below from the wonderfully wonderful site, Humans of New York. It is one of my all-time favorite posts to date.
