“Simply Happy”

One of the best podcasts I’ve listened to recently was the Simply Happy episode on NPR’s TED Radio Hour. I’ve always struggle a bit with the idea of seeking happiness, because I believe that life is made of moments of happiness along with moments of all other emotions. The notion that happiness is some sort of destination you are working toward and once you get there, you stay there, just doesn’t make sense to me. This wasn’t always the case, but with each year and experience in my life, I have come to slowly realize that we have no possible way of knowing what the future will hold. There have been moments when I have said to myself, “I don’t think I could feel any sadder/happier then I do in this moment,” and sure enough the future proves me wrong.

The good news for you and me – there is no secret to happiness and each and every one of us deserves to feel it. I can tell you that chances are you will indeed feel happy after listening to this podcast. It’s worth it, so have a listen…
