Since leaving my 9-5 job, I have had an overwhelming feeling that my productivity has plummeted. With many different things on my plate and without the day-to-day structure of a desk job, I have found that I have not been at the top of my productive game. I’m still trying to figure out how to manage the various different tasks I have while learning the new things I need to learn all at the same time. I came across Anna Vital‘s infographic on “How to Be Productive” and it really resonated with me. Not only because of the useful tips, but also because it means others who are exploring their own careers are struggling with this, as well. Some of the habits that I hope to start working on right away:
- Limit email replies to one per minute.
- When you read something helpful, write to the author.
- Set a daily routine.
- Better done than perfect.
- Do a bad first draft. You can’t edit a blank page.
Any additional habits that you would add to this infographic list? What have you found to be the most helpful in your daily productivity?
