“This is the first time in my life when I’ve just felt absolutely on the right path.” – Megan Paska
Made by Hand is “a short film series celebrating the people who make things by hand—sustainably, locally, and with a love for their craft.” Although the last video was posted about a year ago, you can see that each video is beautifully done and does an amazing job of telling the story of makers who are following a passion. I love the way that the videographers tell each person’s unique story and you get a true sense of the dedication that goes into whatever it is that they are crafting – gin, cigars, honey, knives or bikes. It is interesting to see how each person has crafted their life around making something that they love – you see the possibilities, but it also makes you think about the things that we are consuming and purchasing as individuals. This series is a favorite, and my fingers are crossed that there will be more to come!
