This quote hit home, as I have been thinking a lot about how we make the ultimate decision to move forward with an idea or life decision. If you are an ideas person you might have a million different ideas and thoughts for a great new career venture, the next big startup or new approach to an everyday problem. So, what makes you follow one and leave the others behind? I think it is just this – it is that you know that you can’t NOT do it. It will haunt you and keep returning even when you try to ignore it. It’s when you know, deep down, that if you don’t follow through with it then your regret will be worse then if you fail trying. Your want for it will trump any fear that you have about it. It is a matter of turning off our heads and listening to our heart and our gut. It is figuring out what you want most, so much so that fear is just a part of the equation and not something that will stop or limit you. We must find the quiet moments to really listen to what our intuition is telling us. Fear is powerful – but intuition and want are mightier.
